TOURNAMENT
FORMAT & PROCEDURES
This is a stroke play
event, the lowest score at the end of the weekend goes
home with the trophy!
The tournament takes
place over two days. Two rounds on Saturday and the
final round on Sunday.
For players unable to
attend both days, you are welcome to come along and
join the competition for one day only. Although, please
note that if the tournament reaches its maximum number
of players, priority will be given to those competing
over both days.
54 Holes Of Disc Golf
There are two rounds of 18 holes on Saturday and one
round of 18 holes on Sunday.
Tournament Entry Fee
Two Days - AU$15.
One Day - $10.
Tournament T Shirt (optional) - $25
Prizes
Prizes will be awarded to division winners
and there will also be prizes for categories such as
longest drive, closest to the pin, longest putt and
a Fairplay Award.
Division winners can
expect to win a beautiful disc, hand-crafted from Huon
Pine.
Player Divisions
The tournament offers five player divisions:
>Open Division
>Masters Division (over 40 yrs)
>Womens Division
>Junior Boys Division 12-18 yrs
>Junior Girls Division 12-18 yrs
If you are unsure which division to play in, you can
decide on the day.
Register For The Tournament
To guarantee your place in the tournament you
are advised to register and pay in advance. The tournament
is limited to 50 players. Priority will be given to
those who register and pay first.

Procedure & Rules
PDGA
rules and local rules apply. Rules will be discussed
at the players meeting before tee off.
Players can expect to
play in groups of 3-5. Players will be split randomly
for the first 2 rounds. In the final round players will
be grouped according to their combined score over the
first two rounds.
Course Etiquette
The disc golf
tournament is held on Poimena Reserve. There may be
other members of the public enjoying the reserve. Please
be respectful to other park users.
As always, do not drop
litter. If you see somebody else's litter - pick it
up, collect some extra Karma points!
Health & Safety
The course is on a hill, you are advised to wear sturdy
footwear.
There are also a few areas of brambles. Remember to
slap on the sun cream and bring plenty of liquid. There
are a number of shelters with seats to protect from
sun/rain.
Food
Players are advised to organise their own lunch/dinner.
There is a general store within walking distance of
the course. There are also five barbeques set up at
the reserve. There is seating, tables and shelter suitable
for eating.
Toilets
There are mens and ladies toilets on the reserve.
