TOURNAMENT
FORMAT & PROCEDURES
This is a stroke play
event, the lowest score at the end of the weekend goes
home with the trophy!
36 Holes
One round of 18 holes is played on each day, 36 holes
total. If there is a tie for 1st place after 36 holes,
there will be a sudden death playoff.
The tournament takes
place over 2 days (weekend). For players unable to attend
both days, we still welcome you to come along and play
the course. If the tournament reaches its maximum field
size, priority will have to be given to those playing
both days.
Tournament Entry Fee
Two Days - AU$40
Divisons
The tournament offers 4 player divisions:
Open, Masters, Womens,
Juniors (U18).
If you are unsure which division to play in, you can
decide on the day.
Register For The Tournament
Players are required to register in advance for
the tournament. Registrations must be received
and completed before 24rd July.
We prefer players to
register online. This can be done through this website.

Prizes
Prizes will be awarded to division winners
and there will be spot prizes for longest drive, closest
to the pin, longest putt and a Fairplay Award.
Procedure & Rules
PDGA
rules and local rules apply. Rules will be briefly discussed
at the players meeting before tee off.
Players can expect to
play in groups of 3-4. In the first round players will
be grouped randomly. In the final round players will
be grouped according to their score in the first round.
Everyone will tee off at the same time (1pm), starting
on different holes.
Clubhouse and Course
Etiquette
Neat dress code, no hats to be worn in the clubhouse
(unless your flushed with bread and can buy the bar!).
No smoking anywhere within the clubhouse boundary.
No alcohol on the course. Dispose of litter in the receptacle
provided at the ball golf tees. Smoking on the course
is discouraged.
Dress Code
Please respect the dress code for the Whittlesea Golf
Club and its members. Golfers of both codes are expected
to dress in a smart manner. This applies on the course
and in the clubhouse.
Acceptable apparel is collared T-shirt/polo with minimum
logo representation. Dress trousers/plain sports trousers.
Dress shorts, long socks or short sports socks with
suitable footwear for play.
No T shirts, jeans, footy
shorts, track suit pants, or apparel that can be deemed
'untidy and/or unsuitable by the committee.
